1. General

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all memberships with Stichting Music Tech Netherlands (“MTNL”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registered at Dommelstraat 2, 5611 CK Eindhoven, The Netherlands. By becoming a member, you (“Member”, “you”) agree to these Terms.

2. Membership Types and Fees

• Membership is available to individuals, startups, companies, and educational institutions at the rates published on our website.
• All fees are stated in euros (€) and exclude any applicable VAT, unless explicitly indicated otherwise.
• Membership fees are charged annually and grant access to MTNL benefits and activities for 12 monthsfrom the date of purchase.

3. Automatic Renewal

• Memberships renew automatically each year at the then-current membership fee (excluding applicable VAT).
• We will send a renewal reminder with the renewal date and price in advance.
• You can cancel any time before the renewal date by emailinginfo@musictechnetherlands.com. We will confirm your cancellation by email; no further steps are required.
• Consumers (B2C) only: The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not restart at renewal; consumers can cancel any time before the renewal date instead. Businesses (B2B): this consumer withdrawal right does not apply.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

• Consumers (B2C): If you buy a membership as a consumer (not on behalf of a business), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you join. To exercise this, email info@musictechnetherlands.com. If you asked us to start your membership immediately, you still keep this right; however, MTNL may charge a pro-rata amount for the services provided up to the moment you withdraw.
• Businesses (B2B): The statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to business purchases.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current membership term. Fees already paid are otherwisenon-refundable, except where required by law.

5. Member Benefits

• Members receive access to benefits as described on the MTNL website, which may include community networking, events, and resources.
• Benefits are subject to change or update at MTNL's discretion.

6. Member Obligations

• Members agree to act in good faith, respect other Members, and contribute positively to the Music Tech Netherlands community.
• MTNL reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund if a Member's conduct is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive.

7. Code of Conduct & Safe Community

• MTNL is committed to fostering an open, inclusive, and safeenvironment for all Members.
• Discrimination of any kind, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, religious or cultural intolerance, harassment, bullying, or any otherabusive or harmful behavior, will not be tolerated.
• MTNL reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership, without refund, if a Member’s behavior violates this principle.

8. Third-Party Services & Offers

• From time to time, MTNL may provide Members with access to discounts, special offers, tickets, or services from third parties.
• Such offers are provided for convenience only. MTNL does notendorse, guarantee, or accept liability for any third-party products, services, or events.
• Any participation in or use of such third-party offers is entirely at the Member's own risk and subject to the third party's terms. Any resulting contract is between you and the third party; MTNL is not a party to that contract.

9. Eligibility & Non-transferability

• Memberships are available to individuals (18+) and legal entities.
• Individuals aged 16-17 may join only with prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms and is responsible for payment. MTNL may request reasonable proof of such consent and identity.
• Memberships are non-transferable and may be used only by the named individual or designated organisational contact.

10. Payment & Failed Payments

• Membership fees are due in advance.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is completed. If payment remains outstanding for 30 days, we may terminate the membership.

11. Price Changes

• We may change membership fees. We will give at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the new price takes effect (cancellation effective at the end of your current term).

12. Changes to these Terms

• We may update these Terms. We will notify Members of material changes. Continued membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you do not agree, you maycancel before the change takes effect.

13. Liability

• MTNL will use reasonable care in providing membership benefits but is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs resulting from participation in MTNL activities.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where this is not permitted by Dutch law.

14. Data & Privacy

• MTNL processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy: https://musictechnetherlands.com/privacy-policy
• For members aged 16-17, MTNL may process personal data with verified parental/guardian consent, in line with applicable data-protection laws.
• By becoming a Member, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
• Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
